After enjoying shopping, the cabin in Wiscounsin, Cedar Point, Harry Potter, Arby's, slurpies, and eating out ... It's back to Germany... and back to everyday family stuff ...

Scout Camp

The day after we returned from the states, Devin and Darren headed to Scout Camp... It was in Bavaria. (I know, we have it rough here ...) Devin had a great time! They got to go "canyoneering" over waterfalls, have a biathalon of shooting & running (Devin came first & Darren second). Loads of fun with the boys in the ward - old and young. Summer .... in Wiscounsin

The kids and I were "in the states" from June 13th- July 19th. We spent time at G&G Loosle's house ( I didn't take a single picture my whole trip!! I think I was overwhelmed with the shopping!) And week with Kimberly at her cabin! The kids LOVED it and had a FABULOUS time with their cousins! We were there for the 4th of July (complete with festive food!), and got to watch the fireworks over the lake from the boat -- very fun! After a couple days instruction on the boom, Devin was able to get up on the water skiis on his second try! Unfortunately, we didn't have the camera with us ... But, he looked something like Paul ... So, here's a picture for you ....

Spencer had fun with the fire and roasting marshmellows ... He wasn't impressed with the wake board and tolerated the tubing ... but, he did enjoy the fishing!

A day on the lake fishing ... Spencer caught the first fist, Shelby the biggest fish, Natalie, Marie, & Emily got a fish .... The teenage boys? ... Well... they had fun in the boat together ...

Shelby had a blast tubing & is convinced that is what boats are for! (besides fishing)
